Video Marketing Checklist for Real Estate Agents

Updated: Oct 19, 2021

So we just finished a video for you. Now what? I get asked this all the time, and there are several steps you can take after getting a video done by us to help market it to potential clients. Triangle MLS has a quick and easy guide on how to do it! Keep reading for next steps to get your video out into the world and help eager buyers see it!

Add to the MLS Website

First and foremost, you should add the video to the MLS listing site, a free search that buyers use to find real estate listings for sale. We provide you with a MLS-compliant URL to paste into Paragon. Just follow the link here to get started!

Create a Blog

Blogs are another great way to show off content to your viewers. It's also a good platform for going in-depth about what viewers are seeing in the video and explaining what exactly they're looking at. And you can get it out to even more people by sharing the link on social media (see below!).

Social media has never been as important as it is now. Whenever you get a virtual home tour or other real estate video done by us you should share it on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) to get it out into the world (and tag us, of course 😉). You never know who might scroll past it—perhaps a potential buyer that loves what they see and wants to contact you to buy the home!

Send Out a Newsletter

Once you create a blog and share the post/video on social media, include it in a newsletter to send out to all of your subscribers. This will get the video directly to those who want (or need) to see it most.

After you've taken all these steps, just wait as the calls and emails start coming in...

If You Need a Video...

Before you can do any of this, you—of course—need a video done. That's where we come in! Explore our video services and contact us today by emailing info@aerialnc.com or by calling us at 919-285-1644 to schedule a video shoot.
